eastbound on Stony Plain Road
a young guy in a royal blue hoodie
shivering a bit
transfer in hand
i asked if he could use a bus ticket
and explained a little
about Ride the Red Thread
as we chatted he mentioned
other stops he had to make
that would take him to Castle Downs
as he departed on Jasper
we shared a fist bump
and he said
'now you have something
to write about'
this one's for him
